Dakota Blue Richards, the 13-year-old British actress who makes her debut in the leading role of New Line’s upcoming “The Golden Compass”, has been cast to play the central character in Gabor Csupo’s “The Secret of Moonacre”. The $27 million project, previously announced with the title “The Moon Princess”, started shooting Monday in Budapest.
Richards heads a cast that includes Ioan Gruffudd, Tim Curry, Natascha McElhone and Juliet Stevenson. Read more »

Due to relocation of business premises, Heritage Marine Ltd will be disposing of the contents of their prop warehouse along with memorabilia, costume and location support equipment, this is to be done buy auction on the 3^rd of October 2007.

The auction consists of a collection of ship models, maritime artefacts, props, sets, uniforms and other equipment used in the TV and Film industry over the years.

The majority of the props and models were used in the making of C S Forester’s “Horatio Hornblower” series produced by Andrew Benson and starring Ioan Gruffudd, Paul Copley and Sean Gilder, as well as being used in William Golding’s  “The Ends of the Earth” as well as numerous other films and TV programs.

The auction includes many small collectors items such as Hornblower’s notebooks, compass telescope etc. along with hundreds of continuity photos, marked up scripts and similar items.
